"The Good Wife" Season 7 Episode 2 is titled "Innocents" and airs Oct. 11, 2015. In the upcoming segment, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) takes up her second case about museum vandalism. Meanwhile, she meets Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the newly introduced character who is expected to form a romantic bond with Alicia. "The Good Wife" Season 7 premiere saw Alicia's efforts to revive her career as a lawyer. For her first case, she was forced to go against Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) and David Lee (Zach Grenier).

In Episode 2 "Innocents," Alicia has a case to represent but she is still in search of investigators that could help her in the case. According to Spoiler TV's synopsis for the forthcoming instalment, Alicia works on the case of a complex museum vandalism that involves photographs of a boy taken by his mother.

Alicia conducts interview for investigators who could help her in the case. After meeting some potential candidates, she considers hiring Jason Crouse. According to Christian Post, this new addition to the cast is possibly Alicia's "new love interest."

In an interview with CBS Los Angeles, Jeffrey Dean Morgan dished out details about his character. "We know that he (Jason) was a lawyer at one time and he beat up a judge and is thrown in prison now he is obviously out and he can't practice law anymore. He's been disbarred and becomes an investigator and begins working with Alicia," Morgan revealed.

Meanwhile, more spoilers for "The Good Wife" Season 7 Episode 2 suggest that Cary (Matt Czuchry) has a new problem to tackle at the work place. He notices that his partner Howard Lyman's (Jerry Adler) attitude and conduct towards the younger associates in not acceptable. Thus he tries to deal with it and make it stop.

A promo video for "The Good Wife" Season 7 as published on Entertainment Weekly teases the events of Episode 2 "Innocents." In the sneak peek, Eli pays Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) a final visit. While he bids goodbye to Peter, Eli takes the opportunity to apologise to Peter. However, the website speculates that the apology could be a part of Eli's revenge plan.
