In lieu to satisfy the concerns that parents have when their kids are away from them, LG has released a wearable, dubbed as LG Kizon, this Tuesday which will enable them to keep a close eye on them.

Made from polythiourethane the water-resistant wristband, Kizon, is available in multiple exciting colors, along with accessories, such as a Hello Kitty cover, that kids would love. The software in the device enables the parents to be aware of the whereabouts of their kids through GPS and Wi-Fi. The parents can get notifications conveniently on their tablets or smartphones.

One amazing feature of Kizon is its "One Step Direct Call" function. When a parent will call their child, and he or she doesn't pick it then the device will automatically connect the call and turn on the built-in microphone in the device so that the parent could hear what's going on. This will ensure better safety.

Kizon is compatible with both 2G and 3G networks, and comes with a 64 GB RAM memory. Once fully charged, Kizon can run for 36 hours straight.

The CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications, Jong-seok Park said in a statement that both the elderly and the children are ideal customers for wearable technologies. He also added that wearable also the users to stay connected without worrying about losing the device, or having to bear the inconvenience of carrying a bulky item in a pocket.

The company has stated that while North America and Europe will have to wait till fall for Kizon, in South Korea it will be launched on this Thursday itself. The prices of Kizon has not been disclosed by the company yet.
