Top Spanish club Real Madrid (4-0-3, 15 points) will look to extend its unbeaten start to the 2015-2016 La Liga season as they face bottom-dweller Levante (1-3-3, 6 points) at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on October 17, Saturday.
Rafael Benítez's boys are in a bit of a slump these days after registering two straight draws before the international break.
Their last match was a 1-1 derby with Atletico Madrid on October 4, where French striker Karim Benzema scored an early goal but Los Colchoneros striker Luciano Vietto managed to find the net late in the game to force a tie, via BBC Sport.
Los Blancos missed the chance to take over league leadership from Villarreal despite the latter losing to Real's incoming opponent Levante on October 4.
Les Granotes pulled off a shocker against the league leaders, 1-0, at their Ciutat de València home stadium as Brazilian forward Deyverson provided the lone goal for Lucas Alcaraz's side late in the match, as per SkySports.
Levante remains at the bottom three of the league table as it was the team's only win of the season so far.
Los Vikingos will not fall into the same trap of overconfidence against the Valencia residents, though, as Benítez's crew are expected to bounce back from their two straight lackluster showings in the Spanish domestic league.
