New details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" have been revealed regarding the real reason for game's 2017 launch and adding "Toy Story" and "The Jungle Book" worlds within the game.
There are rumors making rounds regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3's" launch date on Jan. 2, 2017 for Xbox One version due to an email sent by someone from Amazon. Although Square Enix has not confirmed whether the said launch date is legitimate,but some of the reasons behind the 2017 launch was due to Disney and game director Tetsuya Nomura having several disagreements regarding how "Kingdom Hearts 3" should be treated and developed.
However, Nomura clarified that working with Disney has not get in into his way of doing things as he stated that anything unique about the "Kingdom Hearts" game has not been the source of disagreements between them, GamesTM reported. Nomura also talked about new features in the combat systems as Sora' Keyblade can transform into different variety of weapons similar to Ventus, Aqua and Terra and was only possible due to them having access to a new equipment and hardware.
When asked about the sudden changes in game engine and battle system, Nomura stated that it was hard and they have to start from scratch just to make it work with a lot of adjustments and improvements. Nomura teased that "Kingdom Hearts 3" could have a "happy ending" in Sora's journey and possibility of more characters in the game.
In other news, new Disney Worlds are rumored to be added in "Kingdom Hearts 3". There have been three worlds that have been confirmed within the game and these are "Hercules", "Tangled" and "Big Hero 6" as the rumored new Disney worlds are from "Toy Story", "The Jungle Book", "The Fox and The Hound" and "Wreck-It Ralph", Moviepilot reported.
"Wreck-It Ralph" is one the few strong choices for "Kingdom Hearts 3" alongside "Frozen" and "Brave", while "The Jungle Book" was originally planned to be added in "Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep", but was scrapped by last minute by Square Enix, leaving fans to wonder if they are have bigger plans for it.
"The Fox and The Hound" and "Toy Story" worlds could be an interesting choices for Square Enix to add in "Kingdom Hearts 3" as both Disnet movies share the same powerful themes about friendship and adventure.
Co-director Tai Yasue teased the possibility of having both Star Wars and Marvel worlds in the game, as well as new Final Fantasy characters like Noctis, Balthier, Fran, Zidane, Snow Villiers, Vincent Valentine, Warrior of Light etc.
Square Enix will reveal new game details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" at the D23 Expo Japan on Nov. 6-8.
