"The Vampire Diaries" (TV) Season 7 is set to air a thrilling Episode 2 on Oct. 15, 2015. The upcoming segment is titled "Never Let Me Go" and will see the aftermath of violating the truce and death of Malcolm. Stefan's past is revealed. Meanwhile, it seems Caroline becomes the victim of Heretics' fury. Will Damon and Stefan be able to save Caroline. "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) Season 7 Episode 1 saw Stefan sign a truce with Lily that condemns killing. But when Damon and Bonnie return home from a vacation, they get into a scuffle with Malcolm. Things get so tense that the duo ends up killing Malcolm leading to the violation of the pact. Lily is determined to even scores. Meanwhile, Enzo reveals where his loyalty lies and abducts Caroline as she is Stefan's weak point.
In Episode 2 "Never Let Me Go," Caroline's life gets in danger and Stefan and Damon must do everything to save her. According to the synopsis (via Wetpaint) for the next instalment of the long-running CW series, Damon must mend fences with his mother Lily before Heretics' cause further damage and make more people the victim of their wrath. Unfortunately, there is nothing Damon and Stefan can do to stop their mother who executes a brutal revenge plan hitting Damon "where it hurts most."
Meanwhile, fans will see the return of Alaric Saltzman to Mystic Falls. He approaches Bonnie to help him solve the mystery of the artifacts that could prove to be dangerous. Elsewhere, Matt Donovan finds himself in a dire situation where he is compelled to make a vitally important decision. As for Caroline, she realises she is just a pawn for Lily's plan of revenge. She also discovers "shocking" information related to Stefan's past.

Publication Christian Today teases shocking detail from the forthcoming "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) episode. According to the website the promo video suggests that Stefan has "taken her [Lily] side." Fans will have to wait to find out for sure.
