In the absence of any update from George R. R. Martin and his publisher, speculations are rife that release date of The Winds of Winter is happening real soon. A new report is even suggesting that Martin has already wrapped up works on the book that is expected as the basis of the Game of Thrones Season Six.

Online news site The Independent is saying in a report that publishing house Zysk has hired a translator to work on a Polish version of The Winds of Winter and it appears that the job was offered on a short notice. Michał was given the task of translating GRRM's new book with the specific instruction of submitting everything by the end of the year, the report added.

While Martin is yet to confirm on the matter, the publication said that it's hard to imagine that Zysk will have The Winds of Winter translated in unfinished state. At the very least, the book should be in the final stage that merely requires finishing touch from GRRM.

If that is the case, then the book should be out in no time. If Jakuszewski will work fast enough a book debut in December 2015 is not far-fetched or the latest would be January 2016. The timing is also in consideration with the likelihood that The Winds of Winter will also be published in other languages aside from English and Polish.

And it should be noted too that Martin has previously indicated that his sixth installment in the GOT book franchise will surely come out prior to the season six start the hit TV series. HBO is set to premiere the Game of Thrones in April 2016.

So roughly, GRRM has an allowance of five months between the film and The Winds of Winter. Previously, the same gap was observed, specifically when the 'A Dance with Dragon' was delivered to bookshelves in 2011.

The likelihood is the same release template will be in play for the combo of the Game of Thrones Season Six and The Winds of Winter that on release date, according to Christian Today, will be hardcover only for the initial printing.
