Chinese President Xi Jinping and French President Francois Hollande exchanged celebratory messages to each other over the cultural events held in China and France.

The two presidents commended their cultural exchanges in their respective congratulatory messages. Xi's message said that France and China's partnership has significantly strengthened because of the many occasions held since year-end 2013. On the other hand, Hollande's message said that he praised the events set up to commemorate the 50th anniversary of China-France diplomatic partnership.

The two presidents lauded the "LongMa," a giant dragon-horse robot that performed from Oct. 17 to 19 at the Beijing National Olympic Park to celebrate the two countries' five decades of continued cultural partnership.

According to Hollande, the "LongMa" robot is an exquisite artwork that was cooperatively built by both Chinese and French work force.

"LongMa," as Xi described it, blends China's vigorous and persevering spirit and France's robotics technology. Aside from symbolizing the two countries' cultural partnership, the robot was also expected to entertain its Chinese audience.

An upcoming cultural exhibition featuring China's Han Dynasty relics will also be opened in Paris. The Han Dynasty, an undeniably significant period in China's history, left behind a myriad of cultural remnants that tell the story of China's civilization.

The Paris exhibition, said the French president, will immensely help in making the French people learn about the Chinese civilization.
