"Pipin" actress Ciara Renee has shared her thoughts on her character in the forthcoming DC Comics television series "Legends of Tomorrow."
Renee will play Hawkgirl in the upcoming television series. In her interview with Screen Rant, the actress said that the series was going to feature Hawkgirl in her reincarnation, along with Hawkman. Renee added that while the show was set to follow this version of Hawkgirl's storyline, the production had produced something to would unlock a series of possibilities.
Aside from Renee, "Legends of Tomorrow" also stars Falk Hentschel as Hawkman, Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as Firestorm, Wentwoth Miller as Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, ,Caity Lotz as White Canary, Brandon Routh as The Atom, and Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, among others.
Set to be a spin-off series from "Arrow" and "The Flash" time-bending mythology, "Legend of Tomorrow" centers on Hunter as he travels back in time to the contemporary era where he brings together a team of heroes and villains to prevent Vandal Savage from destroying the world and the continuity of time.
In his interview with The Inquisitr, Darvill said that his character's personality was quite interesting, as he had an adventurous side and he was very private that he did not like to let himself known to others. For the actor, comic book fans would be very delighted with the character's development in the series and this had made him feel honored.
Phil Klemmer is the showrunner of the upcoming series while Sarah Schechter and Chris Fedak are the executive producers. Meanwhile, Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim are set to produce the series.
"Legends of Tomorrow" is slated to premiere in 2016.
