Sara Lance is set to deal with the potential effects of the Lazarus Pit when she joins the spin-off series "Legends of Tomorrow."

In his interview with TV Guide, "Legends of Tomorrow" showrunner Phil Klemmer said that Lance's story arc was a really serious one. He added that it would see her making an attempt to gain her humanity again by eyeing on a human connection.

Klemmer also said that Lance had been chosen for the team, since she was a cruel and stone-hearted killer and that was what she wanted to feel again. While Lance had changed when she came back from the dead, her sister Laura was assumed to stand by her side.

In "Arrow" Season 4 Episode 2, entitled "The Candidate," the Lazarus Pit had already begun to display its severe effects on Thea Queen, who had been dead for a short time prior to her revival, as per TV Guide. The publication mentioned that because Sara had been deceased for months, the effects of the Pit on her was assumed be worse.

Episode 2 also saw Jessica Danforth tell Thea Queen and Oliver Queen her plans to run as mayor. Danforth pushed her decision despite of being warned by the Queens, saying that she wanted to step forward and she wanted their support.

Meanwhile, "Arrow" Season 4 Episode 3, entitled "Restoration" will see the brewing conflict between Oliver and John Diggle put them at risk as they track down Damien Darhk and a H.I.V.E. metahuman, as per Spoilers Guide. Then, Laurel will talk to Thea into come back to Nanda Parbat to request her father to put Sara into the Lazarus Pit. Laurel becomes surprised when Nyssa al Ghul declines to do it.

John Behring's "Arrow" Season 4 Episode 2 "The Candidate" aired on Oct. 14 while Wendey Stanzler's Episode 3 "Restoration" will air on Oct. 21. Meanwhile, "Legends of Tomorrow" is slated to premiere in 2016.
