Aired on Oct. 12, "Fargo" season 2 premiere titled "Waiting for Dutch" showed three people in a diner killed by Rye Gerhardt (Kieran Culkin), who stumbled into a car driven by Peggy Blomquist (Kirsten Dunst).

Dunst's character simply kept going but her husband Ed Blomquist (Jesse Plemons) confronted Rye Gerhardt in the garage. With his state-trooper son-in-law (Patrick Wilson), s local cop (Ted Danson) investigated the crime.

Not picking up from where the first season left off, the 10-episode "Fargo" season 2 focuses on a different era with a different cast of characters. In a recent interview with FOX411, Dunst said, "You know, you're coming into a show that's already got all of the wheels moving. It's very high content and unique."

"Fargo" season 2 episode 2 "Before the Law" was directed by Noah Hawley, the creator of the FX series who is also set to write the pilot of the "Legion" series.

Recently, Hawley told TV Insider what he really likes about the title character of the "Legion" series, which he will also executive produce. He said, "Here's a character who is schizophrenic on some level, a character struggling with mental illness."
