Ellen DeGeneres reportedly wants wife Portia de Rossi to quit "Scandal." Sources close to the couple claim that the two have been fighting non-stop since the actress was cast in the ABC drama.
According to Star magazine, via Celeb Dirty Laundry, 2015 has been a difficult time for DeGeneres and de Rossi. When the latter took the role of Elizabeth "Lizzy Bear" North, the host did not think that it will take too much of her wife's time. Now that she has been promoted to a series regular, her schedule has been reportedly too busy that the two do not get to see each other anymore.
The publication held that DeGeneres was "pissed" for she wanted her to stay at home. It has long been rumored that the host is extremely "possessive" and "controlling." She allegedly wanted de Rossi to be with her 24/7.
Earlier this year, In Touch Weekly reported that DeGeneres and de Rossi had a huge fight about the latter's career. After their trip to South Africa, de Rossi talked to DeGeneres about where her career is going. She explained that since she has been promoted to a series regular, she may have to put in the extra hours.
The actress even admitted that she may just might be as well be "married to her job." The source held that the couple did not speak to each other for days after the screaming match.
"It doesn't look like they will ever be able to get back on track. Ellen and Portia will soon be living separate lives."
