Last night saw the last WWE Raw before hell in a cell, and sadly it didn't do much to capture the imagination. Speculation has been rife that Seth Rollins' time as 'the man' is over. What leads me to draw such a conclusion is just the sheer amount of times that Seth Rollins has lost in the past couple of weeks.

Talk about character assassination? The architect has shown him in ring work, and over the past couple of months it's proven to be very good. Having said that I am not sure why creative are messing around so much, I mean a champion losing so many matches in recent weeks is just clumsy.

My grievances aren't just about the way Seth Rollins was booked on the night, and the way he was booked was terrible. The way they did the Wyatt's against the former Shield members wasn't smooth due to the story line, WWE could have taken advantage of that and planted seeds for a possible reunion - but they didn't which was a chance missed.

When they burst onto the scene, The Shield was great. Everyone was put through tables with the triple power bomb and no one was safe from the wrath of The Shield. Each wrestler always says 'what's best for business' but WWE haven't acted on that by putting the Shield together.

One of the glaring misses of all for me was that Undertaker and Brock Lesnar didn't get involved in another classic brawl. Obviously WWE has forgotten how much the fans loved it.

With the news of Rusev's real life engagement coming to light with Lana, you would have thought the WWE would have taken the chance to just forget this thing ever happened. Sadly though however the WWE hasn't taken advantage of this and has decided to continue with the Dolph Ziggler and Rusev feud.

There is a slight twist with King Barret and Seamus joining Rusev in a six man tag team which sees Cesaro and Neville compete alongside Ziggler. If Things couldn't have got any worse, they did.

To further add to my annoyance, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt's feud didn't really lead to a fight that the feud deserves. As I have said before I think that's due to the identity crisis that WWE is facing right now.

Yes, there were good things such as The New Day and their attitude, and what also made it better on Raw was that The New Day didn't get it all there own way. The outspoken Xavier Woods was put through a table on Raw, and that was good as it was a break from the normal routine.

The legends were in attendance on Raw such as Sean Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin - but that didn't do much to capture the imagination, in my humble opinion. WWE, this is the point you prove me wrong and make this year's Hell In A Cell The Best Ever.
