Callie is finally moving on from Arizona and she has found a new love interest. But how excited are Callie's girlfriends for her? Fans can expect things to be awkward for Arizona to meet the lover of her ex for obvious reasons. But the meeting may not go well with Meredith as well.
A sneak peek video obtained by Entertainment Weekly for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 Episode 5 teases Meredith's reaction when she sees Callie's girlfriend Penny standing in her living room. As soon as Meredith sees Penny, Meredith has a flashback from the night Derek died.
"It was my job to save him. And I failed. And now he's gonna die. Because I was not a good enough doctor to keep him alive," Meredith recalls Penny telling her.
The video shows Meredith's first encounter with Penny leaves Meredith disturbed. She rushes to the washroom to throw up. Scroll down to watch another sneak peek video.
According to the synopsis for Episode 5 "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" published on network's official website, Maggie has to excuse herself from the dinner party to attend to an issue at the hospital. While details remain unknown, it is said Maggie needs to deal with an "embarrassing issue."
Meanwhile, April and Jackson come face to face once again. In order to avoid Jackson, April assists the cook. At the same time, Arizona remains nervous and anxious to learn more about Callie's new girlfriend.
