During his Oct. 27 meeting with Chairman Zandaakhuu Enkhbold of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, Chinese President Xi Jinping vowed to reinforce China's relationship with neighboring Mongolia. 

In a previous meeting in August, China and Mongolia have agreed to upgrade their ties an all-around partnership aimed at strategizing on a scope of issues.

Xi said that China and Mongolia have good relations with each other, and that the former will always consider the advancement of China-Mongolia partnership as a step toward good politics with nearby countries.

According to Xi, China firmly respects Mongolia's autonomy, sovereignty and stability in its territory. China also respects how Mongolians drive their country's development.

"We are willing to work closely with Mongolia to further enhance political trust, substantial cooperation and cultural exchanges, and inject new vitality and contents to our ties," Xi said.

Meanwhile, Chairman Enkhbold said that Mongolia is closely collaborating with China to put into action the significant agreements made between the leaders.

Enkhbold also said that the State Great Hural, along with several other departments of their country, is expecting to coordinate with China to set up collaboration and advance the two country's partnership to a new level.

The chairman also mentioned that China's diplomatic approach to nearby countries has given many opportunities for bilateral collaboration. In addition, Mongolia will be standing by China on its concerns regarding the country's interests concerning Taiwan, Tibet and Xinjiang.

Chairman Enkhbold visited China for two days from Oct. 27 to 28 at the invitation of Zhang Dejiang, his counterpart in China who chairs the National People's Congress Standing Committee.
