"Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens" will hit theaters in the United States on Dec. 18. Exactly 59 days before this is Carrie Fisher's 59th birthday.

Reprising her role as Princess Leia in "Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens," Fisher turned 59 on Oct. 21, Wednesday, which also happens to be the 30th anniversary of the "Back to the Future Part II" time jump.

Almost three weeks before Fisher's 59th birthday, the Princess Leia costume she originally wore in "The Return of the Jedi" fetched a $96,0000 auction, CNN Money reported.

Aside from Fisher as Princess Leia, Mark Hamill will also reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in "Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens" along with Harrison Ford as Han Solo.

The last film Fisher appeared in before "Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens" is the 2014 comedy drama "Maps to the Stars." She appeared as herself in the David Cronenberg film, which starred Robert Pattinson and Julianne Moore.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, "Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens" will also feature Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, John Boyega as Finn, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Korr Sella and Jessica Henwick as Jessica Pava.

After the release of the "Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens" official trailer on Oct. 19, Monday, a new fan theory emerged claiming that the twin children of Han Solo and Princess Leia will be seen in the film, Zap2it has learned. Watch the trailer here:
