"Sword Art Online: Lost Song" will have a new story trailer and pre-order details featuring "Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment" and a customized PS4 console.
Bandai Namco released a new game trailer for "Sword Art Online: Lost Song" and it features Kirito and his friends meeting a new mysterious guild in ALfheim Online. As written on the video, the trailer was first showcased during the New York Comic Con event and the mystrious guild is comprise of new characters in the game such as Seven, Rain and Sumeragi. The trailer also sees a clash between Kirito and Sumeragi hinting a rivalry of sort as both Kirito's friends and the new guild aims to finish the game first
"Sword Art Online: Lost Song" will take place in a new MMORPG game called ALfheim as Kirito will embark on a new adventure along with his friends Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Klein etc. Gamers will have a chance to play other characters in the game aside from Kirito or create their own avatar and join one of the races in ALfheim Online. Players can explore ALfheim in both land or air and use magic attacks against monsters. Their is also a four-on-four multiplayer game mode that allows gamers to compete as a team or each other in the arena.
Game producer Yosuke Futami stated that "Sword Art Online: Lost Song" will have a 20 to 30 hours of gameplay and their no specific endings with each character, but it will include a special character specific episodes, AnimeNewsNetwork reported. Futami also adde that their will be five to ten multiplayer quest and completing quest in story mode will unlock new areas and quest in multiplayer mode.
Aside from the new trailer, gaming fans in Japan will have a chance to get a Sword Art Online customized PS4 console during the game initial launch next month, Forbes reported. Bandai Namco announced that gamers who pre-order "Lost Song" will also have the "SAO Re: Hollow Fragment" game as a free DLC.
"Sword Art Online: Lost Song" will launch on Nov. 13 in Europe and Nov. 17 in the United States for the PS4 and PS Vita.
