Blackberry Android smartphone Priv is now getting reviews despite the company’s effort in taking down the official listing on their website.

BlackBerry's upcoming Android slider smartphone Priv comes from two words, privacy and privilege. It brings together the user-friendliness and app support Android and full security measures BlackBerry once ruled the mobile market with.

Priv is featuring 5.4-inch AMOLED display with curved glass and Quad HD of 1440 x 2560 screen resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 hexa-core SoC and has 3GB of RAM, paired with 32GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 200GB. It runs the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with exclusive BlackBerry apps and services, according to NDTV Gadgets.

It comes with 18MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The handset will have a 3410 mAh battery that can last for up to 22.5 hours on a single charge under moderate usage.

The handset will feature Hardware Root of Trust, a unique manufacturing process that injects cryptographic keys into the device hardware, providing a secure foundation for the entire platform. It has also Verified Boot and Secure Bootchain, which uses the embedded keys to verify every layer of the device from hardware to OS to applications in order to make sure they have not been tampered with.

In addition to full security of the phone, the BlackBerry Priv offers seamless integration to Android for Work, Android Authority reported. They also mention the device comes with DTEK pre-installed. This app is said to help users manage and secure their privacy.

BlackBerry Priv will launch with a price tag of $749. The BlackBerry Priv release date has been confirmed, and expected to launch on Nov. 6.
