Ubisoft will release two Day One patches for "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" but they are not even close to the rumored 18GB posted in Reddit.

Gamespot reported that the two launch patches will only total to more than 1 GB according to Gabe Graziani, Ubisoft's Community Developer.

There was a Reddit user who earlier posted that the game would require a ginormous 18 GB patch when it is released on October 23.

Graziani said that he had no idea where that 18 GB rumor came from. Their first patch called 1.10 will require 541 MB while the second one called 1.11 will need 534 MB, according to iDigitalTimes.

He added that neither of the two patches that users will download would even be close to that size.

Launch day patches are pretty common. Take "Halo 5: Guardians" as an example. The game will have a 9 GB day one update. The multiplayer content will be added to that patch.

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers will first enjoy "Assasin's Creed: Syndicate" on October 23 while PC players would have to wait for November 19 to roll by.

You can get a free copy of the PC version when you buy a Samsung SSD or monitor.

Moving on to other "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" news, there will be exclusive missions available to PS4. The missions are called "The Dreadful Crimes" featuring Jacob and Evie in London solving crimes throughout the city.

"The Dreadful Crimes" will reportedly have 10 missions. Both Jacob and Evie are playable. Once you complete the missions a special gear will be unlocked and you will be privy to an artwork.
