As it is a tradition after an update, "GTA 5" is having an event this weekend from Friday 23 through Sunday 25. This follows a recent launch of GTA Online's Lowriders update.

The event is a little bit more limited as compared to the previous events, but fans should expect some worthwhile things to happen.

There are new hats to be given for each of the three days. As a result, logging into GTA Online immediately puts the hat of the day into the wardrobe of the fan - on Friday (Magnetics), Saturday (Low Santos), and Sunday (Benny's). the hats are all exclusive items that fans will only receive over this weekend.

In addition to the new content and customization options, the Lowriders update adds the ability to buy a fourth property. The purchase will not be expensive this weekend since there is a 25 percent rebate on a single property purchase (exclusive for those having 10-car garages). The offer is unfortunately more complicated than a straight-up discount.

For a person to qualify, he or she should have a verified email address registered with Rockstar Game Social Club, signed up for the developer company's mailing list, and be a member of a crew on Social Club.

As long as a player ticks all the boxes, he will make a purchase through the in-game Dynasty 8 website and eventually get a refund by Oct. 28.

Furthermore, there is a screenshot-taking competition outlined on Rockstar's website, and an event playlist that makes it easy to play the three Adversary modes incorporated in the Lowriders update.

Similar to the September Freemode Events, this update is only available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Xbox 360 and PS3 most likely will receive any big new updates going forward, and therefore, Rockstar is working on something new for players on those platforms, according to Gamespot.

On the other hand, in-game cash and RP rewards will be twice for races, and event crate drops will be available more frequently. Gamers can also get a 25 percent refund on one vehicle bought from Warstock Cache & Carry.
