Everyone's expecting that in 2016, Samsung will be launching its new flagship phone in the form of the Galaxy S7. While it is still vague as to what approach the giant company will be taking with it, a rumor from Samsung Viet has been spreading online, claiming that there might be two variants of the Galaxy S7, which will also be launched at the same time.
Rumor claims that people will be looking forward to the new Galaxy S7 Edge and the Edge Plus. This simply implies that Samsung will be doing away with a flat screen version of the phone totally. A risky but audacious choice. This, however, would make sense as there are several reports this year that the Galaxy S6 Edge has been sold quite fairly.
For those who are not familiar, the Edge Plus will be the larger version of the two, Sam Mobile reported. Samsung did that this year with Galaxy S6 Edge. However, it was only a few months ago since they released the bigger Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Based on this report, it is indeed possible that these two variants could be launched at the same time.
For those who are asking about the launch date of the soon to be flagship phone of Samsung, rumors have suggested that you can expect it to be launched on the 19th of January in 2016, Uber Gizmo said. This means that the exact date may fall before MWC 2016 and after CES 2016. So stay tuned until they announce the exact date.
