The New York Giants (4-3) are looking to begin a winning streak against the resurging New Orleans Saints (3-4) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday after giving head coach Tom Coughlin his 100th regular season victory last week.

New York defeated the injury-riddled Dallas Cowboys, 27-20, at their home field of MetLife Stadium in Week 7 to bounce back from their horrible 27-7 loss to Philadelphia the week before.

The Giants took advantage of Dallas' mistakes late in the game to escape with the one-touchdown victory after the Cowboys managed to equalize at 20-all in the final period, as per The Guardian.

Meanwhile, New Orleans is on a two-game winning run after it beat the reeling Indianapolis Colts, 27-21, on the road at the Lucas Oil Stadium last Sunday, via Yahoo Sports.

Head coach Sean Payton will try to extend that run versus the mercurial Giants at their home stadium this Sunday and it looks like Drew Brees and company are willing to do that.

However, to pull off the win, the Saints' defense would have to be more consistent and not fall in another close fight during the fourth quarter after erecting a huge lead in the previous ones.

Prediction: Saints win, 28-21.
