If the increasing effort of Microsoft to integrate Windows 10 to Xbox One is to be considered, then there is a huge probability that the "Halo 5: Guardians" will be launched on PC.

"Halo" franchise editor Frank O'Connor spoke during a GamesRadar live stream. According to him, Microsoft has a big commitment to standardize the Windows experience over multiple platforms and that the features of Windows 10 will be seen on Cortana and Xbox. Thus, there is a possibility that Halo 5 will appear on PC.

Although there are no latest details to announce as of the moment, O'Connor is certain that this is quite reasonable, given the fact that Microsoft created this game on the Intel platform, and moving it to a PC platform will never be easy.

"Halo: Spartan Strike" was the last "Halo" franchise that has appeared on PC in 2013, the last "Halo" game to appear on the PC. This twin stick shooter game was the spiritual successor of "Halo: Spartan Assault," which was co-created in 2013 by 343 Industries including Vanguard Games.

Meantime, the head of Halo's 343 Industries Bonnie Ross talked about the origin of this sci-fi shooter series and revealed that a number of people at Microsoft was not expecting the series to remain this long, GameSpot reported.

"I believe that Halo has the capacity to gain a global effect like the Star Wars," Ross shared.

"Halo 5: Guardians" will be playable on Oct. 27. "WarZone," the latest multiplayer mode that can support 24 players, is expected to be introduced as well.
