South Korean tech giant LG Electronics recently announced plans to begin shipping this week its latest smartphone, the LG V10, in the U.S., Hong Kong and China market.

The LG V10 smartphone has been available for pre-orders via AT&T and T-Mobile. AT&T plans to make the phone available on November 6, GSM Arena reported.

In addition, the LG V10 handset is expected to arrive in other global markets, such as Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia sometime before the end of the year.

In terms of the specs, the LG V10 handset sports a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display screen with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (Quad HD), protected by the latest Gorilla Glass 4. The phone comes with a unique 1.2-inch secondary screen on top that offers users the ability to access apps, among other things.

In terms of the design, the LG V10 comes in stainless steel that provides unrivaled durability, according to LG. It has a powerful 16 megapixel camera on the back and a 5 megapixel camera on the front.

Inside, the V10 packs a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 processor, a whopping 4GB RAM, up to 64GB of built-in memory, a large 3,000 mAh battery, and running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop version operating system. The internal memory can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Other features of the phone include the Quick Charge 2.0 technology that can charge up to 50 percent in 40 minutes. The colors available are luxe white, space black, opal blue, ocean blue and modern beige.
