"19 Kids and Counting' alum Jim Bob reportedly gave Josh Duggar's wife Anna a new home so she wouldn't divorce her husband while he is in rehab.
According to InTouch Weekly, Jim Bob's intentions were clear when he decided to give Anna a new property.
"Offering Anna the home is just a ploy to get her to abandon any idea of leaving Josh. She'll be going from sleeping in a closet to living in a mansion. Also, it's so close to the main Duggar compound that she can always call on the family for help whenever she needs it," a source told the publication.
Meanwhile, according to Inquisitr, some of Jim Bob's kids are not happy that he decided to give the new home to the Anna and Josh. Some of them hoped that they would be recipient when they got married.
"Some of Josh's siblings have voiced their hopes that they could live in the home. Nobody has directly challenged Jim Bob's plan to have Anna move in, but you can feel some of the other kids want it for themselves," the source said.
After the reports circulated online, critics of the Duggar family went on to slam Jim Bob for his attempts at wooing his son's wife.
Some fans also slammed Anna when they thought that she accepted the property and reconsidered her original plans to divorce Josh.
However, it was later on revealed that Anna turned down the house, and she's still seriously considering ending her marriage to Josh.
