Black Friday 2015 officially starts November 27 but giant retailers are starting on the game early, giving consumers access to blockbusters deals way ahead of the post-Thanksgiving Day shopping spree. The likes of Walmart, Amazon and Sam's Club, for instance, are dangling irresistible gadget deals in advance.

Apple iPad Mini 2 for $199

As part of the so-called November Blackout, akin to Black Friday only the fun stretches to 30 days or the whole Thanksgiving month, giant retailer Walmart is selling Apple's iPad Mini 2 for only $199 and the offer took effect November 1. The 2013 iOS tablet asking price is half of the latest model, the iPad Mini 4, Tech Times said on its report.

While obviously the Mini 2 is out-specced by the Mini 4, the overall tablet experience should be pretty much the same given the former is readily upgradable to iOS 9.1, Apple's latest mobile operating system.

Take home the Moto X 2014 for $200

Over at Amazon, online buyers can snap up the second-generation Moto X and the cash damage will only amount to $200 plus the prospect of free shipping for those part of the Amazon Prime program. The deal is definitely a steal as the Motorola-made smartphone is among the best device to come out in 2014.

And picking last year's Moto X will also mean getting direct firmware support from Google as the Moto X line runs on near-pure Android. In fact, Motorola has confirmed that from Android 5.1.1 Lollipop the second Moto X will soon jump to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Afterwards, users are assured of consistent patch and security updates for the next two to three years as Google has mandated earlier.

The 2nd Moto X price off is part of Amazon's 30,000 Lightning Deals for Black Friday 2015, BGR reported.

Delightful PS4 at only $299

And as early reports have indicated, there will be deals galore for game consoles this time of the year. True enough, Sam's Club just made the PS4 totally tempting by pushing down its SRP from $349 to $299. But gamers need to act fast, BGR said in a separate report, as the deal is a pre-Black Friday offering that just went live and will only run until November 14.

The deal comes with a bundled free game and the selection available will depend on specific Sam's Club store. Buyers unable to do the walk-in purchase can opt for online shopping instead.
