"Rock Band 4" developer Harmonix is rolling out a new update for the video game starting on Nov. 3. On top of the new update, Harmonix is also introducing a new downloadable content featuring three new tracks the following day for gamers to add into their game's playlist.

Harmonix announced the news on its official website posting, "An update to Rock Band 4 will be rolling out today that will introduce some new features, broaden legacy instrument support, and address various issues."

Harmonix added that the update will add support for 5.1 surround sound crowd audio. The update will be released for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of "Rock Band 4."

According to Shack News, the last "Rock Band 4" DLC featured songs from the 80's and the upcoming DLC will feature tracks from the 70's. The three new tracks will be available for purchase starting Nov.4 and will cost $1.99 each.

These tracks are "Lust for Life" by Iggy Pop, "Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress)" by The Hollies and "Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor) by Robert Palmer.

For hardcore "Rock Band 4" gamers, this is a good way to relieve the 70's and add some new tune into the playlist while waiting for the disc exports to arrive. The disc export feature will allow "Rock Band 4" gamers to export their song catalog from previous iterations of the game into its latest generation version. Harmonix assured its fan base that the company is working on it and expects to release the feature before the end of the year.
