Gwen will showcase her dancing chops during an audition to be part of the American Ballet Academy.

Fans of Lukasiak are all happy to see their idol star in a movie. However, it seems that they are much happier now that she's following in the footsteps of her former rival Maddie Ziegler.

A few months back, Lukasiak and Ziegler both admitted that they were always pitted against each other on the hit Lifetime reality TV show.

Both young dancers also revealed that coach Abby Lee Miller had a lot to do with their professional and personal rivalry.

Now that Lukasiak has also been cast in a movie, it seems that Ziegler's fans aren't too happy to see her achieve great things.

One fan commented that Ziegler is still the best because she was the first "Dance Moms" cast member to have ever been given a role in a movie.

Another fan added that Ziegler already has two movies under her belt, and Lukasiak only has one.

Ziegler recently filmed her scenes as Christina in the upcoming movie "The Book of Henry." She will also headline Sia's movie "Sister."

Meanwhile, Lukasiak will also launch a fashion line with two major retailers in the next couple of months.

The former ALDC member is currently training at Studio 19 Dance Complex.
