South Korean giant LG Electronics could be launching a new LG G4 variant that comes with a wireless charging feature out of the box, after a device with the product number "H815PX" recently passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website.

H815PX is very similar to the LG G4 product number (H815P) for the South African and South American market, according to GSM Arena. It is worth noting that the LG G4 product number for the U.S. market is H810 for AT&T, and H811 for T-Mobile.

The original LG G4 smartphone, which was launched in April, did not come with a wireless charging capability, instead, it came with a separate charging cover as an option for users.

As of this time, nothing has been confirmed yet directly by LG, and it's unclear whether indeed the South Korean company is planning to launch a new LG G4 variant with a wireless charging capability.

In addition, it's also possible that the new LG device could be another variant for the recently released LG V10 handset. However, this is unlikely since the product number clearly resembles the original G4's H815 number.

Meanwhile, the South Korean giant is rumored to launch the new successor, the LG G5 smartphone, sometime before the end of the year, possibly in November.

The LG G5 handset could sport a 5.6-inch display screen with a 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. Also, the phone could come with a unique iris scanning technology for user identification, the Daily Sun Knoxville reported.
