"Kingdom Hearts 3" will likely feature new Final Fantasy characters in the game, as well as new Disney worlds based on "Toy Story" and "Frozen".
Square Enix revealed new details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" this week as the Japanese game developers teased gaming fan of a gameplay image of what they might be showing during the D23 Expo event in Japan. The photo sees Sora summoning a new attraction flow based on Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, which further speculated that Pixar's "Toy Story" will be one of the new worlds introduced within "Kingdom Hearts 3", Gematsu reported.
"Toy Story", "The Jungle Book" and "The Fox and the Hound" are some of the new worlds being rumored in "Kingdom Hearts 3" joining other Disney movies such as "Frozen", "Wreck-It Ralph" and "Brave". Co-director Tai Yasue also hinted that Marvel and Star Wars worlds and characters could be present in "Kingdom Hearts 3" seeing as both franchises are owned by Disney and that Yasue stated the the possibilities are endless.
Now that Square Enix showcased Sora's new "Toy Story" themed attack, it safe to assume that Sora, Donald, and Goofy will likely meet Woody, Buzz, Jessie and rest of the gang from "Toy Story" soon and other films like "Frozen" or "Wreck-It Ralhpare not far behind.
Aside from the possible Disney worlds, Square Enix will showcase new trailers for "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue as they supposedly showcase the videos during the "Kingdom Hearts" Premium Theater event, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
However, new updates speculated that the trailers will not be shown sometime this week and gaming fans will have to wait for Square Enix to post the trailers soon.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" speculated gameplay features might showcase multiplayer gameplay and players might have the opportunity to play other characters in "Kingdom Hearts" aside from Sora such as Riku, Kairi, King Mickey etc.
Several Final Fantasy characters are also being considered to join "Kingdom Hearts 3" such as Noctis, Snow Villiers, Fran, Balthier, Vincent Valentine and Warrior of Light.
It is unknown yet as the when will "Kingdom Hearts 3" will launch in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as several speculations claimed it could be happen next year or in 2017.
