The good thing is that GAME has finally given a final word on the mater over Twitter, announcing that the preorders of customers are generally safe.

"Thank you for your patience, your Pip-Boy Edition order is still reserved and will not be released for general sale," GAME tweeted over at the official Twitter page.

However, there is a note for customers who have ordered via the official website that they will be getting an update on the order. This will come via an email, which is expected sometime in the next 48 hours.

The "Fallout 4" Pip-Boy edition is the rare and very limited bundle offered by developer Bethesda. It has run out very early on in the preorder season, with the developer confirming that the production capacity for the bundle has already reached its limit.

What made the earlier uproar worse is that fans seemingly appeared to have been notified that their preorders are cancelled with no option to reorder. This suggested that months' worth of preorder have been lost.

For now, fans can relax with the knowledge that GAME will honor their purchase from before. In the meantime, Android users who are also waiting for a copy of "Fallout 4" can start downloading the "Fallout Pip-Boy" app on the Google Play Store. This is a handy and free secondhand app that will expand the entire "Fallout 4" experience, GameSpot reported.

The app is a great way to access the base game's data, inventory, map and stats, among others. There is even a free Atomic Command and the ability to watch holotape games with the app. Lucky users who were able to get a copy of the coveted "Fallout 4" Pip-Boy edition will be able to strap an Android phone to the device and have it work as a real-life Pip-Boy.

"Fallout 4" is coming on Nov. 10 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Previously, "Fallout 4" has been reported to have at least 400 million square feet for the entire map, Gamepur reported. However, this is not the official estimate yet, as the developer has been coy with giving away the vastness of the map. Fan research did put out the 400 million square feet total, while another has even created a map comparison with the real city of Boston.
