The latest "Scream Queens" season 1 spoilers confirmed that Nick Jonas will be returning in episode 8, titled "Mommie Dearest." His character, Boone Clemens was last seen during the series premiere.
According to the show's official synopsis, via Hollywood Hills, a "shocking figure" from the past is going to return in the coming episode. After seemingly faking his own death in the first episode, Boone is back on episode 8. It was even hinted that he could be teaming up with the Red Devil Killer to finally eliminate the Kappa Kappa Tau.
As the girls all thought he was dead, this will be the perfect time to execute his plan. In the promo video, Jonas was seen sporting a long hair and a beard seemingly in a disguise.
Fans of the FOX series are definitely excited to see Jonas return to the show. As many believed that his appearance was cut short during the premiere, they held that the writers made the right decision of bringing him back in.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Ryan Murphy explained that much like Ariana Grande, Jonas will be have a recurring role in the series. He added that Boone will be returning later this series but with a different look.
"One of my favorite things is that he's spying and traveling around the campus dressed incognito as Joaquin Phoenix," he said.
Murphy also hinted some of the "dead" characters may be returning in the coming episodes but not really as a ghost. He added that some of them may actually alive and could be working with the Red Devil.
