The current rumor that everyone seems to be talking about is the latest plot of the upcoming "Wonder Woman" solo movie that is set for release in 2017. This may be the reason why it is being connected to the film set of "Batman vs. Superman" which is coming a year earlier.

According to the Heroic Hollywood report, the God of War, Ares will take the role of the super villain as he controls the series of events in the movie. Meantime, the character of Circe the sorceress, is rumored to be played by Nicole Kidman, the primary villain in "Wonder Woman."

If the latest rumors will be proven true, then Ares is going to be in the presence of Thanos like in the Marvel universe. Ares is set to play the larger villain behind the scenes and Circe is said to remain only for one movie, Screen Rant reported.

The trailer for "Batman vs. Superman showed Wonder Woman fighting an unidentified villain, and it looks like Ares, which means that Doomsday might come. Ares may also appear as a villain in the movie "Justice League 1" and "Doomsday" of the "Justice League 2",  Screen Rant added.

Although complicated, there may be some truth in all all the rumors. Yet for now, there is nothing really sure about and the movie fans will have to wait to see how the Warner Bros are going to make their superhero characters connect with one another.

"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be shown in theatres on March 25, 2016. "Wonder Woman", on the other hand is scheduled to release on June 23, 2017.
