"Yo-Kai Watch" season 1 episode 10 titled "Komasan In the City: Urban Living" will air on Nov. 9, Monday, on Disney XD in the United States. In the episode, Komasan assesses how his younger brother Komajiro adapts to life in the city.
Komajiro came to the city in "Yo-Kai Watch" season 1 episode 9 titled "Komasan In the City: Here's Komajiro" while Nate met the Yo-Kai Cadin after a failed treasure hunt. Soon, Yo-Kai Cadin figured out that he will die within a week's time because he was not permitted to reincarnate as a cicada.
Nate, Whisper, and Jibanyan eventually met Robonyan, the robot self of Jibanyan from the future. In "Yo-Kai Watch" season 1 episode 10, Komasan will start to realize that Komajiro is adapting to city life much faster than he expected. In fact, Komajiro is picking up city lingo.
On the other hand, Keita will find out that the Yo-Kai Buhu is possessing him after a spate of bad luck. However, the Yo-Kai Buhu simply needs Keita's help to get back on her own feet.
The Yo-Kai Dictionary calls the samurai and Legend Yo-Kai Shogunyan to his aid after Keita has made friends with some Yo-Kai.
After being a huge phenomenon in Japan, "Yo-Kai Watch" aired in the U.S. on Disney XD and those skeptical of the anime adaptation think it is rip-off of "Pokémon." It is not difficult to see the similarities between the two and "Yo-Kai Watch" can become the next "Pokemon"-style global phenomenon, according to The Verge.
On the other hand, it must be considered that "Yo-Kai Watch" is as close to an open-world "Pokémon" game that players will get. It allows players to control their character as they travel at their own pace all over the areas unlocked, according to iDigital Times.
