The latest "House of Cards" season 4 spoilers suggest that Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) may get killed in the coming episodes. Rumors hinted that it will actually be Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) who will order the killing.

In an interview with Los Angeles Times, via Vine Report, Kelly admitted that he had no clue what will happen next to his character. He shared that he had heard rumors about Doug being killed off, about Frank orchestrating the whole charade but said that he is not privy to what is going to happen.

Kelly, however, said that if it were up to him, he would not want Doug to die. He said that playing him was the "greatest gift he has ever been given as an actor." He added that his enthusiasm for the role only grows as the day pass by. He shared that enjoys going to work on season 4 as much as he did on the first season.

In the end, Kelly said that his fate relies on the hands of the producers and the writers of the show.

"I am somewhat of a fatalist anyway," he joked.

In other news, it has long been rumored that season 4 will once again focus on Frank and Claire's (Robin Wright) relationship. According to Christian Today, many have expressed their disappointment towards the change in storyline. Showrunner Beau Willimon, however, explained that they have been laying out the groundwork for this plot since season 2. He added that fans of the couple will definitely get to see more conflict in the coming episodes.

"House of Cards" season 4 premieres 2016.
