Apple recently unveiled its iPad Pro that lead to raise many eyebrows due to its close resemblance with Microsoft Surface Pro 4, which is already available in the market now.

Both tablets look similar but Surface Pro 4 works on Microsoft Windows 10 Pro while iPad Pro uses iOS 9 operating system. The Apple's iPad Pro is bigger in size yet thinner, with a dimension of 8.68x12x.27 inches. Meanwhile, Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 has a built-in USB 3.0 port, making the device thicker than expected.

Surface Pro has a display size of almost 12.3 inch touch with a resolution of 2736x1824 at 267 ppi. It sports the new Microsoft Pixel Sense technology. Apple's iPad Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with 12.9 inch retina screen display and holds a resolution of 2732x2048 at 264 ppi.

Both the devices have keyboard and stylus to support writing; however, if the Surface pen is included with Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 purchase, the stylus of iPad Pro needs to be purchased separately from the device that might cost around $99.

Apple iPad Pro runs on the most recent A9X chipset, making this tablet the fastest and most efficient among tablets available in the market now, while Microsoft Surface Pro 4 uses Intel Core M chipset, along with an Intel iCore 7 processor.

The Surface Pro 4 has features similar to that of a laptop while iPad Pro 4 limits itself to a tablet. Other notable features of Surface Pro 4 includes fingerprint sensor, larger touch pad that matches Samsung Pro 3, built in 3.0 ports, micro SD card reader, and a Display port.
