Tech giants Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and LG Electronics recently launched their latest smartphones, the Huawei Nexus 6P and the LG V10, respectively.

Both phones sport 5.7-inch display screens with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolutions, and come with high-end specs under the hood. Here's how the Huawei Nexus 6P will go up against LG's latest V10 handset.

In terms of the design, the Nexus 6P smartphone sports a curved full metal body made of anodized aluminum and encircled by diamond chamfers, according to Huawei. In addition, the screen is protected by an oleophobic coating along with the latest Gorilla Glass 4.

Built in collaboration with Google, the phone is equipped with speakers on the front, along with an 8 megapixel camera, and a 12.3 megapixel shooter on the back. The primary camera comes with the 1.55µm pixel size capability, touch focus, HDR, face detection, panorama, Google Camera app, and Google Photos feature.

Under the hood, the Nexus 6P packs a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32/64/128GB of built-in memory storage, and powered by a whopping 3,450 mAh battery.

Other specs include an ergonomic fingerprint sensor and support for reversible USB Type-C port connection, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth, 4.2 and NFC connectivity. Also, users in the U.S. will have the ability to use the fingerprint sensor to access their emails and photos, and make purchases.

Unlike the LG V10, the Huawei Nexus 6P comes with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system pre-installed.

As for LG's latest smartphone, the V10's 5.7-inch screen is accompanied by a unique 2.1-inch secondary display that comes with a 160 x 1040 pixel resolution.

When the primary display is off, the second screen enables users to receive notifications, including time and date, among others. In terms of the design, the phone comes in a stainless steel frame with silicone bumpers, according to LG.

In addition, the Nexus 6P screen is covered by two layers of glass for protection. Inside, it packs a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 processor, up to 64GB of expandable internal memory (up to 128GB via microSD card), 4GB of RAM, and a large 3000 mAh battery.

The Nexus 6P has dual 5 megapixel front-facing shooters and a powerful 16 megapixel rear-facing camera. Other specs include a fingerprint scanner as well, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, NFC connectivity and infrared port. Also, It runs on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop version OS.
