With almost 300 aspirants strutting for the women's lingerie retailer on the first day alone, only 47 women passed the test, according to New York Daily News.

One of the requirements in the model auditions was for the women to wear only bra and panties in front of Victoria's Secret executives.

"There is no room to hide. There is no airbrushing. You have to bring it," Collective Creative Director Sophia Neophitou said in the video.

The teaser displayed that auditions enticed women from all around the world, with some coming from Reunion Island, Germany, Holland, India, Nepal, Peru and Russia.

Moreover, publicist Fred Howard remarked that modelling has moved beyond simply looking great physically. For Howard, people now want to understand the model beyond the runway walk and find out what the women do in life and what their goals are.

Joining the Victoria's Secret tryouts was international supermodel Hadid. The television personality had to kneel down upon hearing that she was accepted by the executives. Hadid even hugged Ed Razek, the show's executive producer, out of sheer excitement.

Razek also expressed that while not everyone cried or expressed anxiety during the audition, every aspirant was feeling the pressure deep down.

Similarly, fellow executive producer Monica Mitro shared the sentiment that each of the women has been training hard for a chance to appear in the prestigious show, according to E! Online.

Celebrated annually, the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs on the CBS network on Dec. 8.
