New "Thor: Ragnarok" details to feature Thor and The Hulk to take on Thanos, as well as rumors of Loki's role reduced to a cameo.

The Asgardian God of Mischief Loki has been the subject of many rumors and speculations regarding his role in "Thor: Ragnarok" as "Crimson Peak" star Tom Hiddleston stated that in an interview that his character is doing "pretty well" in Asgard following his supposed kingship at the end of "Thor: The Dark World".

Hiddleston revealed that he has not received any call from Marvel Studios for two years leaving him in the dark about the details of "Thor: Ragnarok", which resulted in many rumors that Loki might not appear in the third installment.

However, recent reports claim that Loki's appearance in "Thor Ragnarok" could only be a cameo, Franchise Herald reported. So far, Marvel Studios has not made a statement regarding Loki's appearance in the film.

Aside from Loki's rumored cameo appearance, it seems that Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will have an unlikely ally in the form of his Avengers team mate Bruce Banner/the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Ruffalo teased that both Hulk and Thor in "Ragnarok" will battle each other during the course of the film and it is speculated Bruce Banner's role will have something to do about finding a "cure" for the Hulk similar to what he did in "The Incredible Hulk" film.

Another theory is that Thor recruited the Hulk in defending Asgard during the Ragnarok cycle and it is hinted that Thanos was responsible for the cataclysmic event, prompting a huge battle between him and the two Avengers, What Culture reported.

It is somehow connected to the recent speculation that Vision (Paul Bettany) could be seen in "Thor:Ragnarok", leaving planet Earth after the events of "Captain America: Civil War" and Thanos hunting him down throughout the galaxy in order to gain the Mind stone, setting up "Avengers: Infinity War".

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to be release on Nov. 3, 2017.
