The lovable forgetful blue tang fish is back! Pixar has just released an exclusive trailer for "Finding Dory" which is set to hit theaters on June 17, 2016.

Ellen DeGeneres will reprise her role as Dory, the adorable fish with a perennial memory lapse. We first saw her in "Finding Nemo." Dory scenes were some of the funniest and most memorable in the movie.

It's just a matter of time before she gets her solo movie and now it's finally happening! In the trailer, Dory is sleep walking. She then remembered that she has a family. The memory came from her dream, Wired reported.

The fleeting memory is the start of a new adventure for Dory and her friends. Her journey won't be the same as Nemo's. This one will be more challenging mainly because she forgets things.

Albert Brooks will return as Marlin's voice, according to Wall Street Journal. Dory's parents will be played by Diane Keaton (Jenny) and Eugene Levy (Charlie).

Alexander Gould who previously gave life to Nemo is all grown up now so Pixar casted a new actor for the role, Hayden Rolence. It has been 13 years since "Finding Nemo" was first shown.

Other new voices include Idris Elba, Kaitlyn Olsen, Ty Burrell, and Dominic West.

EOnline reported that "Finding Dory" picks up six months after the events of first movie. Director Andrew Stanton said that after "Finding Nemo" he wanted to know if Dory will find her way home if ever she gets lost. At that point, he knew they had to tell her story.

If you will remember, Dory got Nemo's name wrong often. She called him Fabio, Elmo, Chico, Harpo, and Bingo.
