Princess Leia Organa is set to have a new title in J.J. Abrams' upcoming space sci-fi film "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens."

Carrie Fisher is set to reprise her role as Princess Organa in Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens." In his interview with Entertainment Weekly, Abrams said that the character was referred to as "General;" however, there was a moment in the movie where a character sort of slipped and called her "Princess."

While Abrams did not specify who had called Organa "Princess," it was assumed that it was Han Solo, according to Cinema Blend. The title "General" could fit the princess, but it could take long for some people to get acquainted with her new title.

Ford is also set to reprise his role as Han Solo in Abram's "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," which is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi." Aside from Ford, the film stars an ensemble of both old and new heroes and villains played by Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, Max von Sydow, Simon Pegg, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, John Boyega, and Carrie Fisher, among others.

Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" hits theaters on Dec. 18 while Gareth Edwards's "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" premieres on Dec. 16, 2016. Meanwhile, Johnson's "Star Wars: Episode VIII" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 26, 2017 while Colin Trevorrow's "Star Wars: Episode IX" premieres in 2019.
