Jamie Dornan and his wife Amelia Warner is reportedly the reason for the delay in "Fifty Shades Darker" movie. Latest rumors suggest that the Christian Grey actor requested to extend his vacation to be with his pregnant wife.
The highly anticipated sequel to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise is expected to begin in a couple of months. Multiple reports, however, suggest that the film is way behind schedule.
According to Inquisitr, one of the possible reasons for the delay is Dornan asking the producers to extend his break to be with his family. The publication claimed that he and Warner are expecting their second child. Dornan allegedly requested to extend his vacation so that he could be with his wife and their daughter.
Although the producers believed that it would only delay the film further, it was said that they could not do anything about it. Dornan was reportedly determined to assure Warner that he will be with her every step of the way. It was said that he wanted to stop his wife from getting jealous of his onscreen partner Dakota Johnson.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dornan slammed rumors that he will not be returning to the sequel because Warner became uncomfortable seeing him in bed with Johnson.
"The Fall" star admitted that his wife did not want to see the erotic movie, but still extended her support in the premiere. He shared that Warner knew that it was all pretend.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is set to premiere on Feb. 10, 2017.
