A mystery that "Guardians of the Galaxy" fans aches answers for at the end of the film is the question "Who is Star-Lord's father?" There have been hints to whether who the father is, but today Bradley Cooper's (the voice of Rocket Raccoon in the film) must be the most spoiler-y of them all as it had gone viral.
In a post by Slash Film, it shows an interview with the actor where he revealed the identity of Star-Lord's father which turns out to be the main villain in the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2." There may have been a possibility that he got everything confused in 2014, but Director James Gunn, also has something to say about the rumors.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, anything is possible, that Thanos could actually be Star-Lord's father but the "Guardians of the Galaxy" films begs to differ as Director James Gunn responds to the rumors about it in his official Twitter Account.
It is possible that Bradley Cooper didn't reveal anything just yet as he just have received the script and is yet to be read, IB Times reported. It is also possible that he have confused the first and second film all together.
Though Gunn has not denied the possibility of Thanos being the possible Star-Lord father. He just showed that Cooper did not know anything yet about the upcoming film and only that Thanos will be a huge character in the film's sequel.
It may be unknown at the moment who Star-Lord's father is but according to another report by Slash Film, the sequel will really reveal his identity and truly it will be a huge twist in the story.
