Wang remarked that in view of the 65th anniversary of the founding to China-Slovakia diplomatic relations, the two nations should elevate their friendship to a status whereby their cooperation can bear more fruits, according to a Global Times report.

China and Slovakia, he said, can benefit from the enhanced relationship in that it will synchronize their interests, leading to the materialization of their mutual prosperity.

The Chinese official expressed CPC's willingness to work more closely with Slovakia's political parties to realize these aspirations.

Meanwhile, Slovakia will do its part in strengthening the economic and trade cooperation with China and sees more Chinese investment in the country as a way to achieve better relations, according to Fico and Pellegrini.

Slovakia's political parties, they said, welcome tighter cooperation with the CPC.
