New "Final Fantasy 7" remake details will feature VR gameplay, Mobile App support, as well as the return of the turned-based combat within the game.

Several rumors making rounds that Square Enix looks to add new content for the "Final Fantasy 7" remake as they delve into using new technology and methods in order to make it more interesting, while retaining its original likeness and feel for gaming fans. The Japanese game publisher will likely use Virtual Reality gameplay in "Final Fantasy 7" remake, as well as the use of mobile app devices for added features and promotions, Ecumenical News reported.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura stated that he and Square Enix will be making some drastic changes for the "Final Fantasy 7" remake so that the gamers, both old and new to the series will have a different experience, while retaining its original flow of the story.

Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase explained that the game's combat system will be a "trial and error" stages as gaming fans speculated that they will incorporate an action-RPG style of gameplay, while other fans want to the traditional turned-based gameplay of the past "Final Fantasy" titles in "Final Fantas 7" remake, Venture Capital Post reported.

Other rumored gameplay features may include multiplayer gameplay in mini-games several DLC updates to make the game more interesting. There is also a remix album for "Final Fantasy 7" titled "MATERIA: Final Fantasy VII Remixed" as the album contains five disc featuring 200 artist that re-invisioned the popular songs within the original game.

Square Enix borrowed the software used to develop "Just Cause 3" in order to created "Final Fantasy 7" remake's graphics and overall gameplay mechanics.

Although there is still no official release date announcement from Square Enix, it speculated that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will launch sometime in 2017 as it will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beloved title.
