Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou is yet again rumored to have already proposed to his long-time girlfriend, actress-model Hannah Quinlivan, with whom he promised to be married to before he celebrates his 36th birthday.
According to Taiwanese media, the 35-year-old Mandopop superstar has allegedly asked for his 21-year-old girlfriend's hand in marriage while they were in London on Dec. 8.
To support the report, rumors surfaced on Sunday about the couple already making preparations for their matrimony, with an employee from luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. claiming that Chou has already bought their wedding band from their shop.
Meanwhile, a netizen, who happened to have been in the area at the same time as the couple, reportedly saw the singer at Alexander McQueen shopping for his wedding suit.
The couple was also seen Wednesday enjoying the romantic ambience at the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park where he allegedly popped the question.
However, Chou is yet to release an official statement regarding his rumored proposal.
Earlier this year, the Mandopop king had declared that, after a series of relationships with fellow artists such as Jolin Tsai and Patty Hou, he is finally ready to settle down after tying the knot with the young actress-model.
"I am a man who keeps my promise. I will definitely get married before my 36th birthday and will invite everyone to my wedding banquet," he said during the Golden Melody International Music Festival held in June.
He also said that though he has not "officially" proposed to his Taiwanese-Australian girlfriend yet, he is planning to make a memorable wedding proposal for his beloved.
