Aside from the new Android Wear app to easily switch between watchfaces, the Watchface API is also made available for developers to experiment with.

In addition to the new update, Android Wear also receives improvements for wearables, including quick card recalling, recent actions prioritization, and a new quick settings interface, which can be accessed by simply swiping down from the watchface.
