The new Xbox One Experience started rolling out on Nov.12 2015 and with it, it brought a new look and feel to the Xbox One's Dashboard.

To be specific, the new update came with a new user interface and also brought Window 10 to the gaming console. This made a shift from the horizontal scrolling of the Windows 8 style interface into something that goes by the Windows 10 theme.

With this, the new dashboard very much looks like the Windows 10 Xbox app that includes a navigation to the left and vertical scrolling to access any pinned content, AnandTech reported. Besides this, the new Xbox One Experience also comes with a new streamlining of the UI owners that they have used for about two years.

According to Xbox's website, with the New Xbox One experience, a player can get faster access to friends, games and features that matter most to them. One can also start and join parties, check messages and add friends without leaving full-game mode. As if that is not enough, a player can view their friends' activity feeds, see what is trending on Xbox Live in the new community area and find new challengers.

Another feature that is probably talked about most by enthusiasts is the Xbox backwards compatibility. The feature enables a player to play a growing number of disc-based and digital Xbox 360 games on Xbox One. An emulator enables it in Xbox one, which plays Xbox 360 games. Therefore, a player can play most features from the two systems.

At a price of $399 for the lowest bundles, Xbox One remains a favorite for many gamers.
