The Los Angeles premiere of the final "Hunger Games" film will be cut short to show respect for the recent tragedy in Paris as director Francis Lawrence remembers the great Philip Seymour Hoffman.

While fans of the "Hunger Games" franchise can still greet the celebrities and have photos taken with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks, the two-hour interviews will no longer happen.

The planned press interviews on the red carpet have been removed in light of the attacks in Paris that have killed more than 120 people and injured more than 400 persons, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Likewise, the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" premiere will still be held in downtown Los Angeles, with L.A. Live primed to be the venue of the after party.

The film will also be Philip Seymour Hoffman's final film appearance. Director Francis Lawrence expressed regret as the late Oscar-winning actor does not have as many scenes in "Mockingjay Part 2" as much as the team wanted Hoffman to be in, according to USA Today.

"Silver Linings Playbook" actress Jennifer Lawrence expressed how sad the whole film crew was when Hoffman died. The 25-year-old celebrity noted how it was difficult to act alongside Hoffman's stunt double who constantly reminded Lawrence of Hoffman.

Even though the great film and theater actor can be seen in the movie, several group scenes have been removed as Hoffman passed away due to a case of a drug overdose and was, therefore, unable to finish everything.

To solve the problem with the incomplete scenes, some of the final words to be said by Hoffman's character were instead put into a letter.

Hoffman will once again be taking the role of revolutionary leader Plutarch Heavensee in the last "Hunger Games" movie.

The final movie of the series will conclude the dramatic and exhilarating story of Katniss Everdeen as the female protagonist willfully fights the corrupt system of a dystopian world.

With some scenes shot in Atlanta, Germany and Paris, "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will be released in the United States on Nov. 20, Friday.
