This led to speculations that the upcoming issue may reveal more details about "Pokemon Z" and its release date, according to iDigital Times.

On the other hand, Nintendo is all set to release the original generation of Pokemon for Nintendo 3DS. This is being done to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the gaming franchise.

Fans can expect to see the first gen of Pokemon Yellow, Blue, and Red in their Nintendo #DS eShop. These games will be in the original monochrome pixel art along with a 4 bit background music. This will allow the gamers to get a look and feel of their childhood for sure!

Nintendo recently teased the games saying that the titles will be running smoothly with the help of wireless communication. This technique was totally impossible in the past, when the original Pokemon was released.

In the far gone days of "Game Boy," the players needed to use a link cable in order to connect with friends. However now, with advanced technology, the players will just need to use the wire less system of Nintendo 3DS system and find the battle of their choice with their friends.

In addition, these games will now be available in the multi player mode as well. When it was first released, Pokémon was a single player game.

Players can start to download these games from Feb. 27, 2016. There will be three games in total. It must be noted that the date marks exactly 20 years from the day that the first Pokemon was released. Yellow followed Red, Blue, and Green a few years later.

Pokemon is all set to enjoy a huge year in 2016, as many old school Pokémon games are being brought back to life.
