Two teams who are heading in the opposite directions midseason are the Denver Broncos (7-2) and Chicago Bears (4-5). They are scheduled to face each other at the Soldier Field on Sunday for a Week 11 game as the Bears will try to go for their third straight win while the Broncos look to stop a two-game losing skid.

Denver lost their second game in a row as they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, 29-13, at their home stadium of Sports Authority Field at Mile High last Sunday, via USA Today.

The Broncos were held scoreless in the first three quarters before going on a big 13-point fourth quarter rally led by backup quarterback Brock Osweiler that proved to be already too late.

Legendary signal caller Peyton Manning tried to play with a sore right foot, injured ribs, and a hurting right shoulder, but he could not do it, throwing 5-of-20 for an inconceivable 35 yards. He was sacked twice and had four interceptions that led to an improbable passing rating of 0.0, basically unheard of for a professional quarterback.

Meanwhile, the Bears are on a roll right now, beating the San Diego Chargers and St. Louis Rams in their last two outings.

Their last game was a shocking 37-13 win over the Rams at the Edward Jones Dome also last Sunday, as reported by NBC Chicago.

Quarterback Jay Cutler was superb with three passing touchdowns while running back Jeremy Langford contributed one of his own en route to the lopsided victory.

Chicago is expected to continue their run against a listless Broncos team that may have been too reliant on the heroics of an aging Manning.

Prediction: Bears win, 21-17.
